After a stroke survivor has had their stroke
Is a bad 24 hour bug any worse for a stroke survivor after they’ve had their stroke than before?
As long as the patient continues to take his meds, is a bug a bug for a stroke patient. No residual effects or permanent damage. Last stroke in August 09.

I don’t think, IMHO, the risk is with the stroke more than the risk associated with the type of bug infection. For an example, if the bug is pneumonia, that, in and of itself, is a clear and present danger to life, if left untreated.
