Chest pain in 18 year old male?
Hey ya’ll 18 year old male 6 foot 155 pounds active lifestyle, only family histoy of heart disease is after 60. For a couple of months I’ve been having really random chest pains. The pain is sometimes localized and sometimes just randomly shows up in a different spot. It’s not unbearable and is really very mild kindof like a discomfort. It doesn’t come on with exercise. In fact exercise seems to make it go away. Usually I get it when i’m sitting in class or laying in my room doing nothing. It can be sharp and quick or ache for a couple seconds. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to it. I recently had an EKG and blood workup and both were normal. I’m in a very high-stress situation and have had problems with anxiety and some hypochondria in the past. I’ve heard that anxiety can cause chest pains? I’ve got no dizziness or anything else. Anyway the pain usually comes on quick lasts a couple seconds and goes away. Massaging it helps. So should I worry? Think anything could be wrong with my heart or something?
The EKG and blood workup i had were only two weeks ago to check out my anxiety symptoms
