High blood pressure, tell me how bad this is?

So in Bio today we were learning about the heart and whatnot….. And it was brought to my attention many “symptoms” or “concerns” I have regarding my blood pressure. First of all, the past few times I’ve gotten my blood pressure check it’s been “a little high”. On the elliptical (I don’t know how accurate it is) it said my heart rate was 207. Throughout the day I get a very red face, red/sweaty palms, and my heart is PUMPING! Like I can often feel it through my chest. I can can feel the pumping. And I hear it in my ear too, like when I burst up a flight of stairs for example.

Are these bad signs? Not normal? Should I bring it up with my doc? By the way, I’m 17.

You should consult a cardiologist if your pulse rate exceeds 100 beats per minute (BPM). The resting heart rate of a normal person is 60–100 bpm.
Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is a disorder in which an extra electrical connection between the atria and the ventricles is present at birth. People may have episodes of a very rapid heartbeat. Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is present at birth, but the arrhythmias it causes usually become apparent during the teens or early twenties.
