Anyone have their Thyroid killed with a pill?
I have Thyroiditis and my Thyroid levels go from one extreme to the next. The Dr. is talking about having my thyroid killed with a radio-active pill, and then treating me.
The thought of this really scares me! Anyone else go through this? How did you feel?
The thought of a Thyroid storm occurring from this worries me too…

hi, i went in remission from thyroiditis/graves’ disease with a low dose of methimazole. now i’m in remission. i was afraid of the RAI. elaine moore’s website can answer questions regarding this.
