High immunoglobin levels in blood and not have an illness

Can you have high immunoglobin levels in your blood and not have an illness?

what causes high immunoglobin levels in blood test results?, does it always mean there is something else wrong in your body needing investigation? I have had a some symptoms over the last dew months which are persistent, muscle aches and pain in joints, feels like flu, really weakens me and I’m unable to do much for a day or 2 at a time, which is hard with 3 young children, sometimes accompanied with a rash, when I get upset the blood vessels on my arms become red and very visible like a rash, does anyone else get this? also flushing to my jaw with mild pain, but the only test to come back abnormal was this one, ( immunoglobin ) any further tests for RF or ANA, have been normal. I have also developed raynauds to my hands in the last few months, which does seem to get worse with each attack, ( 4 or 5 times a day) does this cause any permanent damage to your hands with all the swelling and blueness) ? any ideas or anyone similar experience, I would appreciate your story and if you found out whats causing it, as doctor has just said to phone in for results ( which were normal RF & ANA )and that I don’t need to see her again. surely I can’t just feel like this for no reason.

It basically means there is an inflammatory process happening in your body. Its a very non specific test as there are many different types of immunoglobulins that may be raised. It could be as simple as having an inflammatory bowel condition (Im in no way suggesting this is your problem-just an example of why it may be raised) or as a result of something such as your raynauds.
hope you feel better soon.
