aww sweet little 3rd year med student lol. first make sure she is not having any weakness on either side of her body (besides her face) Have her squeeze your hands to make sure her grip is even. I just want you to check this because facial drooping can be a sign of a stroke. So make sure she hasn’t had one. Seeing her doctor would be best but if that isn’t possible then go get “cat’s claw” from the health food store. Bell’s palsy is usually caused by an old virus. Cat’s Claw is a natural anti-viral. Also stay away from alcohol as swallowing maybe impaired. Use eye drops to keep the affected eye moist as it can dry out due to difficulty keeping the eye shut while sleeping. Besides telling her that the doctor might give her a prescription for an anti-viral. Also most of the time it only lasts a few weeks. If it lasts longer for sure tell your mom to go see her doctor. Take care and I hope she feels better.
