Does moving an arthritic joint have a negative or positive effect upon that joints lubrication? Does moving it?

cause more wear and tear upon the joint or does it help the body produce the proper lubrication for that joint? Or is surgery and joint supplements the only thing that can be done once a joint has been attacked? have any studies been done regarding this? If so please state those studies or references.

you only love me cuz I died for you in the cat war ;) lol

i cannot answer to regeneration of cushioning tissue, but many issues with arthritis are related to bone spurs… moving joints seems to keep them ground down before they get big enough to be really debilitating

i’ll try to look for articles on it tonight… but all evidence from associates in the medical field and friends with the problem is that range of motion exercises help; staying active is very important to being able to stay active
