My friend has pneumonia…
She had it back in June or even before that and she took antibiotics for it. Since then she has had it a couple of times and the only other time I remember her taking antibiotics for it was when her mom gave her some! Last week she was coughing so much she couldn’t sleep (it was only severe for one night) and she hasn’t been to the doctor for it again..she still has mild symptoms sometimes but she doesn’t seem to be doing really anything about it..I keep telling her she needs to get it taken care of but she just brushes me off…….She smokes a lot of cigarettes and also drinks a lot of beer and hard liquor…other then that I believe she is healthy and she only 23. What are the chances of her dying from this??

It happened to me…..6 months of being sick then one night, in the wee hours, I awoken to a body in distress. Couldn’t breath…struggle for a couple of hours until my heart said, “I’m outta here!”
Pneumonia kills. Nothing to play with. I had Bi-lateral pneumonia that infected my heart. Swelled my heart up like a grapefruit.
She needs Chest X-rays to see that her lungs are cleared.
