This is bacteria or yeast?
Any RNs or MDs out there that can tell me if this is bacteria or yeast?
I started using a new antibacterial soap when I shower instead of my regular bodywash. Shortly after my vulva area started itching and I noticed discharge. When I wear white panties the discharge looks light yellow but when I wear dark panties the discharge is white. The discharge IS NOT clumpy or frothy it looks just like my normal discharge other than the yellowing color. The odor is strong but NOT a fishy smell it smells like my normal vaginal order but stronger and yeast. I just got tested for gonerrhea and chlamydia and they were both negative so I don’t think I have an STD. I can’t make an appointment to see my doctor until Monday so in the mean time can someone tell me if I have just a yeast infection or is it a bacterial infection?

It may be a yeast infection, but it can also be a bacterial infection. Your best bet is to visit a gynecologist. In my perspective though, it sounds like a yeast infection.
