Will i lose my fingernail?
After getting bitten by my small dog accidentally a few weeks ago, only the index finger nail was punctured but not very deeply but there is a small crack in the nail at the nail bed area. It was blue for a while but after 1 week it heeled, now its going a beige colour gradually from where the wound was (which was very small) am I going to lose my fingernail? Any tips on what i can do to help it?
I did go see my doctor a few days after the bite and he said I had no infection.

You might want to see your doctor again to check if it might be best to have this nail peeled off – a new one would grow back quite quickly, but you would need to have a finger-stool over the end to protect it from bumps.
