What happens when your blood sugar drops so low you pass out?

I was working out really hard core in the gym today doing squats and what not. I depleted all my glycogen stores and the sugar in my blood and it dropped really low, to like 25. I was lying on the gym floor for like a half hour feeling dizzy, and really light headed like i was floating, and I also felt like i was going to puke, I couldn’t even sit up without feeling like i was going to black out. anyway I wanted to know what would happen inside the body if it dropped so low that I blacked out? would you like, die if you stayed like that for too long? by the way I know i do not have diabetes. so dont say that might be why.
i have been working out for 7 years and its never happened before, I know it was around 25 cuz my trainer told me from experience and how I was feeling.
i thought it was low b/p too but when it didnt go away after a half hour I had my trainer go down and get my protein shake to get some carbs in me and after I took it I felt fine in like 10 min.

Unless you have been fasting, I doubt you depleted all your glycogen stores but severe, untreated hypoglycemia usually causes unconscious, seizures and maybe brain damage and death. But if you are not on insulin I don’t think you need to worry too much, your body is generally able to self regulate quite well.

Did you actually test your sugar levels when this happened? Because it sounds much more like low blood pressure rather then hypoglycemia,
