Can this be a major problem?
My super came to my house today since I had called him because he had to fix an item from the wall in the tub (shower). He removed a piece of it and it left a medium hole. He told me to spray a disinfected spray around the hole and he will return the next day since he had an important phone call to return to.
My only concern is that this hole being open in my bathroom can’t release any harmful fumes like carbon monoxide ? Please give detail
It’s basically a hole in the wall in the tub in the bathroom.

I do not think it has any danger, Carbon monoxide could only come from fumes if chimney blocked. If that wall do not have contact to any old chimney no reason to worry
