Is it sanitary to walk on the floors of the airport
Is it sanitary to walk on the floors of the airport while going through security?
Every time I go to the airport and going through security I feel I’m catching something if I go through bare feet. Is there something we can catch from someone else?

I’ve never heard of anybody catching anything from it, but I always feel paranoid walking on the linoleum floors. Some airports offer little cardboard slippers, but I wouldn’t want to wear some shoes made out cardboard that gross people have worn, so whenever I get out of the airport, I like to wash my hands and feet or take a shower, since the whole airport and plane scene just feels so germy.
By the way, why do people that are wearing flip flops even have to take off their shoes? I’ve always wondered that lol.
