Simple Question inside the?
Simple Question inside the:
1) What are my vital organs; each and every one ?
2 ) Can they heal if damage by a knife stab, falling, trauma, etc ?
Best Answer
Brain – Although there is a phenomena called brain healing in which the damaged tissue liquefies and a lining forms around the damaged area, the brain can neither repair the damage nor replace the tissue. The rest of the brain compensates by using other areas to perform the otherwise lost function
Heart – I believe the heart can be healed after trauma. just depends how much damage has been done. a small tear in the heart lining in the right spot could cause massive internal bleeding and kill you in minutes.
Lungs – The worst place I’ve ever been stabbed. Doctors call it a sucking chest wound. DO NOT PULL THE KNIFE OUT OF THE WOUND. Not until you have alcohol, duct tape,a plastic bag, and sterile cloth. As soon as you pull the knife out, tou won’t be able to breathe. You will not regain the ability to breathe until you make that hole airtight. sterilize the bag in alcohol. Wrap the blade around the entry point with the cloth. Now hold the cloth with one hand and the knife with the other. Press the cloth into your chest while pulling the knife out with the oher. Keep pressure on the cloth. When the knife is out, hold the cloth in place with the tape. Now tape the bag over it to create the seal. You will be coughing blood if a lung is punctured. Either way, YOU NEED A DOCTOR.
Kidneys – Depends on how damaged they already are. Creatinine is the blood test that determines how your kidneys are functioning. If the results show that your creatinine level is beyond the normal limit, they could still be “repairable” but take that as a warning sign. If it is WAY beyond limit, it could be a matter of time before you need a kidney transplant.
Liver – it depends how old you are (4months to 14 years)
