Colored contacts healthy?

I was planning to get some colored contacts from my eye doctor and he said that colored contacts will ruin your eyes. (He said that contacts like those are too thick and oxygen can’t get to your eyes) I’ve never heard of this and people I know who wear colored contacts look perfectly fine. Is there any risks to wearing colored contacts?

Well, if you get Freshlook Colored Contacts or Acuvue 2 Colours, then you won’t have oxygen deprivation. But, if you are buying them from someone off the street, then they can. Ask your doctor about these brands, and see what he says.
