Optical pressure was boarderline high
I got my eyes examed today, and my “optical pressure was boarderline high”?
I know that this can lead to glaucoma, so what can I do to lower my eye pressure, and how serious is this? It has me worried… I don’t want to lose my sight. I am nearsighted, and my prescription is:
Left: -3.25 (was -2.75 at my last exam)
Right: -3.0 (has not changed)
Left: -3.25 (was -2.75 at my last exam)
Right: -3.0 (has not changed)
Of course I asked him – he said there’s no way for me to lower it on my own. That’s why I’m asking PEOPLE WHO MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING, so I can get an opinion from THEIR PERSPECTIVE. I’m not so ignorant that I’d pass up the opportunity to speak to a professional for all you kids on YA. But perhaps… someone who has had the same diagnosis can lend support, encouragement, or advice. I am so very sorry for asking a question.

I’m afraid the only thing I know of that can lower intraocular pressure is cannabis. On the other hand, I (and probably the vast majority of other people on here) am not a doctor. Try asking them instead.
According to the internet you can also get eye drops, and eating omega 3 helps.

One Response to “Optical pressure was boarderline high”You’re the only one who offered some advice besides “ask the doctor.” Because of course I did that… I like the cannibis idea lol
