Well.
first they check your eye.
to see which number your contacts need to be.

colours, transparent, more oxygen..
and things like that.
I prefer you get a little bit of colour
AND the daily disposibles.
so that you can see them, and its easier for you to get used to.
So yeah,
when you have chosen your contact.
the person will go in with you
and teach you how to put it in ..
and how to put it out.
then you do it by your ownself.
it dosent hurt at all.
it costs around 180-270.
