A discharge from vagina smells strongly of fish
15 year old- discharge?
Every month after my period is over (usually 8-9 days), I have a discharge from the vagina that smells strongly of fish. Is this normal? What can I do to conceal this embarrassing odor? Should I consult a doctor?
it only smells right after my period for a couple day

It is not normal…. Tell an adult that you trust and have them set up an appointment at the doctor for you it could be bacterial vaginosis which sounds scarier that it is. The fishy odor is a bacteria that over grows causing discharge if untreated can cause more problems down the road call a doctor.
Good Foods to eat/drink:
yogurt (plain) – good for yeast infections
Cranberry Juice (not cocktail juice read the label) – good for UTI’s
Avoid:
Dairy
Sugar
Soda
Fried Foods
ADD: You can get yeast infections, UTI’s and bacterial vaginosis with out being sexual active. The women’s vagina has a normal PH balance it needs to maintain that PH level fluctuates you get UTI’s, Bacteria growth which can lead to infections. Sitting in water to long Baths/pools can also cause yeast infections or UTI’s.
