Bad headaches right before my period?

Does anyone know why I am getting VERY bad headaches and feel nausea a little before my period? It only last a day but its bad that I can’t even do school. I’m 18 and have been getting my period since I was 12 but this hasn’t been happening the whole time I’ve had my period. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do about it?

When I turned 18 I started having that too because my hormone levels were shifting which happens as you get older. Right now your hormones are all over the map as your body continues to mature and grow so things like that just tend to happen sometimes.

It helps to eat and keep your vitamin levels up. Why don’t you take some B12 supplementary vitamins? Start taking them a few days before your period starts and take them until your cycle is over, it helps me manage my headaches and nausea because it keeps my vitamin levels up where it doesn’t affect me so bad.
