2 wisdom teeth out on 1/20
2 wisdom teeth out on 1/20, deep cleaning on 1/25, and braces on 1/27?
ok im alittle worried because i just had 2 bottom wisdom teeth removed on 1/20. today is day 4 and im still in alot of pain. im taking 800mg ibuprofen, codeine, and soma to help me sleep. the bleed stopped after the first day, but i still have alot of swelling.
on 1/25 im having my teeth deep cleaned and im worried because today is the 23rd and my mouth still hurts alot.
and on 1/27 they are putting braces on.
do you think my mouth will be less painful by monday? or at least enough to get my teeth cleaned?
and idk why they want to put the braces on so fast, my teeth arent crooked. i just have an overbite(and not a bad one)!
any advise.
oh and i smoke(i know its not good to smoke with this all), but my oral surgeon told me not to quit until atleast monday when they clean my teeth. he said if i have withdraw symptoms of vomiting then i can get dry socket. the only time my mouth feels better is when i smoke. (which is like 3 cigs a day).
is my oral surgeon, dentist, and orthodontist just fing crazy??? i need some advise!
i think why they want to do it so fast is because my step daughter got braces put on 1/21. maybe its for a discount to have 2 family members get them on before the end of the month. that the only reason i can think of.
