ok so ive been on the pill for a mounth an a half and me and my bf decided to have unprotected sex and hes been telling me that he wants to *** in me … so what r the chances of gettin pregnant ? or is it too early for him to *** in me , i mean i really want him 2, but im kinda scared cause ive only been on the pills for a month an a half and its my second months second week acctually

You need to have been taking the pill consistantly everyday for 2 full weeks before you can have sex without a condom. You’ve been on it for a month and a half so you are pretty safe. Being on birth control means you ARE having safe protected sex, you just aren’t protected against STDs, but you are certainly well protected against pregnancy. Heres a few tips to remember while taking birth control:
Just remember that it doesn’t matter how many weeks, months, or years you take the pill for you still have to take is everyday consistantly around the same time, the pill doesn’t “build-up” in your system like some people might tell you, so you can’t actually skip a day and still be protected. If you take antibiotics for any reason while on the pill, you would need to use a condom for that time and 7 days after your last antibiotic. You also can’t drink grapefruit juice as this decreases the effectiveness of the pill. If you accidently miss a pill for one day, then you have to actually take that pill the next day ASWELL as the usual pill for that day. Lots of things to remember, as lots of situations arise where you may forget to take one, or you may end up of antibiotics for some reason, or you may have a bout of stomach flu – all these things effect the effectiveness of birth control.
