Im allergic to Motrin and tylenol,can i still take amoxicillin?

Motrin and Tylenol are NSAIDs (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs), while amoxicillin is an antibiotic. Totally different drug classes, and different pathways involved. People who are sensitive or allergic to NSAIDs are usually ok with Tylenol, but can have problems with other NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen, and also to opiate preparations. Most cases of NSAID allergy are actually to salicylate, the active ingredient in aspirin.
