Nasal congesion lasting 7 months +?

I am a 23 year old female. I have been congested (stuffy nose) for over 7 months now. At first I thought maybe I was getting a little cold. When I noticed that my cold meds were not working, i figured that it was just allergies. I decided to try Claratin. I used this for a few weeks and noticed that I was still congested, EVERYDAY. I then called my doctors office and told them that I would like to make an appointment, or would like something to be recommended to me. That’s what brought me to try Zyrtec D. Once again, after a few weeks or so, that was not working either so I decided to make an actual appointment with my doctor. Basically since then I have been in and out of his office on many occasions and was prescribed 3 other medicines as well 2 nasal sprays. NONE OF THEM HAVE WORKED. This is becoming very stressful and I don’t know what else I am supposed to. My doctor seems to keep bringing up the allergies thing, but I mean I am curious if it could be something more than that, or if it is allergies, I mean what could be causing it and what other things can be done to control this. I am stuffy for at least 75% of the day, EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. It is driving me crazy. I cannot sleep, because I cant breathe at night, so it is taking a toll on my entire life. I have tried to do some research online but I am not getting any luck.

****I have noticed a bit of a cycle. I was congested starting in June of 09′. Around September or October I got a bad flu. So with this illness my nose was actually running and i was actually able to blow my nose. When i got over the flu…i was not congested at all for about 3 weeks. Then it came back and i was in the same situation.. Then again in December i had a bad cold, and once again with the runny nose, and stuff. Once i got over that, i was not congested for about 2 or 3 weeks….then it came back full congestion.

There is no mucus or anything because when i try to blow my nose my ears pop and its just pointless…nothing is there. I dont know what to do.

CEFACLOR 250 MG CAPSULE
ALLERGY DN II TABLET
IPRATROPIUM 0.06% SPRAY
Claritin
Zyrtec D

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, but I am at my whit’s end, and don’t know what else to do. I go back to my doctor tomorrow morning, and maybe I can go to him with some suggestions.
