Build up of meat/skin on nipple?

It’s been many years since it appeared (at least 3 years now), it doesn’t hurt or itch, but it’s just there on my nipple. It’s about a centimeter long in the same colour as my nipple (on my left nipple only), it looks like a build up of meat or skin lumps… I’ve checked with one of my doctors a few years back when I first got it, she said it wasn’t anything that I need to worry about… but at the time, it was still very small (it was just a tiny single lump of skin that’s visible on the nipple)… it’s gotten bigger over the years (now about 1 cm long, made up of many tiny lumps of skin on top of each other) and now I can feel that it’s no longer just a painless piece of meat or skin, but rather a piece of extra large nipple that is long and made up of tiny round ‘smaller’ nipples on top of each other…

I was wondering if this is really something I don’t have to worry about since it’s been many years and is not painful nor does it itch (unless I pull it hard enough, then it hurts)? Also if I want to remove it surgically, would this affect breastfeeding (I’m 101% sure I’m not pregnant but I do want children a few years down the track)?

My daughter had the same thing, but hers was much larger and she also had in more places, hers was just skin growth and the doctor just froze them off, that is done very frequently and usually nothing to worry about. I would advise tou to see a dermatologist and ask him/her to remove it before ir gets larger, if you let it get too large that’s when it might cause some problem.
