Been coughing for weeks…?

Posted by · Leave a Comment

…and visited 2 completely unrelated doctors, both said that it’s a bronchitis and gave me antibiotics that didn’t change much. So the real question, am I doing something wrong? Are there foods / drinks I should avoid?

I heard fried food and sugar are bad, for instance. What about coffee? Other stuff?

(Please do not tell me to see a third doctor, I will do so when I can afford it, in about 2 weeks. Thanks).

Stay away from dairy (if you can’t avoid it completely then at least have skim or lite dairy) as full cream causes a type of flem. With healthy bronchil tubes its not a problem, but when you’re weakened the flem sticks to your bronchil tubes and causes them to swell and close up so you cough and wheeze alot more.

Of course stick to the age old trick of drinking lots of water, as that not only keeps you hydrated but flushes your system out quicker, getting rid of the bacterias that are causing you to cough in the first place.
