I start coughing when I smell certain odors?
I am not sure why I start to cough and get a coughy like throat/lungs whenever I smell some random stuff. It depends on what is in the air, and when it does reach my nose and I start breathing it a little bit, i start to cough, not a lot, but my throat gets, not itchy, but like this type of clogged sensation, not wheezing, but it does feel like if I would be coughing when I would be wheezing. The smell in the air is bleach, and sometimes while I am spraying my shoes with an odor eater, I also get that cough feeling. Why is this? Thanks.
but this only started happening recently like a couple of months, not all of the time, is it still the same?
I don’t have asthma though, and it doesn’t get to severe, it’s just a mild cough.

It sounds like you are very allergic to these items, highly so. You may be having the start of anaphylaxis(severe allergic reaction). I would definitely talk this over with your doc ASAP. And keep Alevert or Benedryl around. If know you are going to be around these items, take the allergy medicine before hand. Try using the odor eater inserts not the spray and washing the inside of your shoes periodically if that is possible(I know good dress shoes can’t be washed but athletic shoes can be). This is not something to be played with because an allergy like this can escalate on you into a full blown severe reaction without warning. I’ve had it happen a time or two and it was just a little un-nerving.
