Question about jaw pain?

I have had jaw cracking, sticking, etc. for about 8 years since I got my braces off. I had braces for several years to fix crooked teeth and a cross bite. I clench my teeth a lot– I believe I do so at night out of habit from being told to chew my “ortho-tain” mouth piece at night. Denture adhesive after tooth extractions immediate denture?

I had my upper teeth extracted and an immediate denture placed 11 days ago. So far everything has went well, the denture looks good, I am starting to chew some food, and it fits fairly well. (minimum sore spots).

What can I do about my painful jaw?

I have a sore jaw and it’s on the right cheek. I also have this knot right next to my ear where my ear and jaw align. The only thing that makes the pain go away is tylenol and acetaminophen.
