But lately around the couple of months, I have been experiencing very extreme tiredness, causing me to be moody and cranky. I am just wondering. I want to cut out all sweets for the risk of gestation diabetes is high right now. I don’t eat a lot of sweets now, but when I went and checked my levels they were higher than they should have been. That was with nothing inside of me. I hadn’t ate.

Diabeties does run in my family and pretty strongly. My Grandma has it and I have an Uncle that has had some pretty severe problems because of it.
Now here is what has been happening to me:
For the past couple of days I feel like I have to eat right on schedule (before 9, again before 2:30, before 6 and then a small snack at 9 again) or else I feel kind of sick and light headed and soon after get a bad headache. I went to the doctor to have blood tests done for diabetes. They sent back the tests as negative, but…..?
The type 1 diabetes symptoms are still there, and they aren’t getting better. She didn’t suggest anything, and didn’t ask for a follow up. I’m still worried. Is there any thing else that it could be or something else I could be doing? Read more of this post
i have had my blood sugar drop into the 50s and been very frightened about how i feel. am trying to get a better handle on my insulin doses, but lapse completely for weeks at a time now and then. takes a week or so to get it back down to normal. Read more of this post
How long can a diabetic go with no food or water before in a coma, how long with out insulin before in a coma?
I am a beginner in diabetes with a fasting blood glucose level of 120mg/dl. My height is 176 cms and weight is 94 kilograms. I am supposed to be weighing around 80 kilos I feel. I do not eat nuts like almond, pistchio or wall nut or any type of nuts.
Can a person with my condition eat nuts?? If so what are the type of nuts that can be eaten?? will eating nuts increase the weight?? Please help me. Read more of this post

im 11 and every time i eat a lot of sugar i feel weird like i start shaking kind of i have had a low nervous system could that have anything to do with it? and could it just be i need to lay off the suger for a few weeks or could i have high blood suger? if you can help me find a answer thanks a lot. I know this is a lot to read, but I would be extremely grateful if somebody could answer this. I just had to get a new insulin pump because my old pump company went out of business and it was near to impossible to get pump supplies. I never got any, so we switched. I was on my last pump site when i got my pump. I really had no choice but to figure my own pump out and use it considering i get sick if I’m off the pump (and just taking regular shots). I am planning to go for a fasting blood sugar test tomorrow. How many hours of absolute fasting will give better results of fasting blood sugar test?? I have heard 10 hours or 12 hours. I am not sure which one is correct 10 or 12?? I will be having my dinner tonight by 8.30pm and after that I will not drink or eat anything and planning to go to test tomorrow morning at 8.30am so that 12 hours of absolute fasting is done. I just recently was told i have type 2 diabetes,and i’m having a hard time controling it.i’ve been put on 2 types of pills actos 15mg and metformin 1000mg.well i had to stop taking metformin for one week cause it was making me sick.but now the doctor wants me to start taking it again And I’m Very Scared To Take It cuz all of the sideeffects comes along with it.So i’m am wishing that someone out there can help me in controling it so i don’t have to take this pill please help me.
