I just recently went and got tested for herpes. The test results wont be back for seven days so I need a little advice. I dont have vaginal discharge, itching, or painful uritation.When I urinate though, if the pee touches the sores it burns. I do have little rash like sores. i have 2 largs cuts on my inner labia. they are raised and white with a red base. the base looks like blood, but it does not bleed. there are also tiny, tiny spots next to these cuts that seem to be “flaking” idk. it looks like when you have a piece of skin hanging by your finger nail. only much much smaller.

I was diagnosed w/HSV one in Mar.09…the doctor said I was “exposed” via oral sex and that is how I got the initial outbreak. it has been 9 months since and I have had NOTHING, no outbreaks, no nothing. If someone has HSV-2, and wants to have sex…..as long as the male partners wears a condom he is pretty much safe correct? I know if you have sores or lesions on say your thighs and legs the skin to skin is how you contract it…but if you want to be safe and aren’t sure if you are shedding as they call it, or if you had a spot that you weren’t sure was an outbreak, if they guy wears protection there is really no chance in giving it to him right? I am taking my meds right now for a possible outbreak….I have not had any problems or outbreaks in 9 months since the initial incident of being diagnosed….The spot is small and I think I actually shaved and cut myself, but anyways, the question is…if I am on medications and let’s say it is a small outbreak on that one spot…and I have sex with my partner WITH protection…what is the likely hood it would contact him?
